New Humanitas clinic in Catania

In Misterbianco near Catania in Sicily, a new cancer research center of the Humanitas clinics was built. Baths in hospital facilities have a specialised requirement profile which, on the one hand, places great emphasis on functionality in the bathroom geometry and, on the other, sets high standards in terms of hygiene, maintenance and cleaning. Sanika has the ideal solution for these criteria - Saniflex. This is a prefabricated bath solution in glass fibre reinforced plastic. The tried and tested construction method is based on sandwich panels, which are very robust and are joined together in a watertight manner. The floor and ceiling element is formed in one piece. The Humanitas clinics have been successfully using Saniflex bathroom solutions for decades and, due to the durability and insensitivity of the prefabricated wet cells, it was obvious that this should also be implemented in the new building.
