Sanika has successfully completed the first large project in France. Already at the end of 2011, Sanika supplied 188 prefabricated bathrooms for the amplification of a holiday park. One cell type has been equipped with two separate baths, resulting in a total of 225 independent rooms. Sanika has been chosen as a partner by Rubner Objektbau once again. In collaboration with Glöckel Holzbau, 106 cottages have been built in the French region of Lorraine near Strasbourg in only three months. 44 shipments had to be coordinated and supplied just in time. The bathrooms were divided into three equipment levels, which differed in equipment and size. In total there were 13 different versions! As construction method for this project, the column construction system by Sanika has been chosen, which features a high durability due to the gypsum fibre board panels. The surfaces have been tiled as well as evenly smoothed and painted in the upper area. The prefabricated bathroom modules have been placed as the first components on the sole plate and the timber cottages subsequently built around the sanitary modules. The bathrooms have been planked with gypsum fibre panels directly on site. Thanks to the use of bathroom pods, the complete construction site logistics have been simplified and the holiday cottages were completed on schedule.
